Aggieland Veterinary Services is an established ambulatory practice offering comprehensive animal care dedicated solely to exotic species! We seek to provide exceptional services for private owners, zoological facilities, wildlife sanctuaries and rescues across the state.
Veterinary care of exotic animals is just as important as domestic species, and providing proper care for these animals requires special training and skills. But far too often we hear of "non-traditional" animals and their owners being unable to access regular health care. This may be due to limited options in their region, cost, or even species specific restrictions which prevent an "easy" examination. For these reasons, Aggieland Veterinary Services is focused on providing exceptional medicine at an affordable cost to exotic species owners and facilities.
But we also know that the keys to good health and well-being extend beyond routine veterinary visits. They are rooted in the daily nutrition, husbandry, enrichment, and welfare provided by caretakers! Unfortunately, a large portion of exotic animal cases present to veterinary offices for reasons originating from inappropriate husbandry and/or nutrition. We aim to prevent these types of visits by offering Animal Welfare & Husbandry consultations. Consultation services include, but are not limited to: nutritional analysis & formulations, SOP development, USDA inspection preparation and compliance, staff training protocols, and more!
