About Us

Aggieland Veterinary Services is a newly established mobile clinic which offers unique care for unique species!  The AVS team is excited to begin this long anticipated endeavor of opening a comprehensive animal care practice dedicated solely to exotic species!  We seek to provide exceptional services for private owners, zoological facilities, wildlife sanctuaries and rescues across the state. 

Veterinary care of exotic animals is just as important as domestic species, and providing proper care for these animals requires special training and skills. But far too often we hear of "non-traditional" animals and their owners being unable to access regular health care!  This may be due to limited options in their region, cost, or even species specific restrictions which prevent easy examination.  For these reasons, Aggieland Veterinary Services is focused on providing exceptional medicine at an affordable cost to exotic species owners and facilities. 

But we also know that the keys to good health and wellbeing extend beyond routine veterinary visits and care. They are rooted in the daily nutrition, husbandry, enrichment, and welfare provided by their caretakers!  Unfortunately, a large portion of exotic animal cases present to veterinary offices for inappropriate husbandry and nutrition. We aim to prevent these types of visits by offering consultations through our Animal Welfare & Husbandry division. Consultation services may include nutritional analysis & formulations, SOP development, preparation for USDA inspections, training protocols, and more!
