Some of our patients require advanced intervention, and their medical needs extend beyond "routine" care. By supporting a patient directly, your contribution is immediately applied towards a required procedure or treatment.

Direct support of a patient is the best way to expedite veterinary care!  Click the link below to learn about current patients & their needs.

SUCCESS STORY HIGHLIGHTS

Check out a few of the most recent success stories made possible by cooperation between  Paws & Claws Wildlife Rehabilitation and Aggieland Veterinary Services!

Bald Eagle suffering from traumatic wing injury after being caught in a barbed-wire fence. The patient was successfully released a few weeks later following veterinary assessment and supportive care.

Female raccoon with a cat toy embedded in her hand. The raccoon underwent a surgical procedure to remove the embedded pieces and received supportive care for weeks following. She was successfully released with full range of motion in her hand!

Red-eared slider caught in fishing wire underwater. Fishing wire was identified around his neck, which was cutting off oxygen supply and causing tissue swelling. He was sedated for removal of the wire, followed by oxygen therapy, and multiple weeks of antibiotics for aspiration pneumonia.
